Now, there are a lot of books that get heaped into one big grouping under this heading, even though they could technically be more post-apocalyptic, or science fiction, or even fantasy in some cases. So here is the definition of Dystopia from the Oxford Dictionary online:
An imagined place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad, typically a totalitarian or environmentally degraded one. Compare with utopia.
I always kind of think of it like the opposite of a utopia, which is kind of what that definition refers to at the end. So, based on that, I have chosen my favorite dystopian series. The winner will be able to pick any book within that series (that is already published, no pre-orders, sorry), even though I've only pictured the first books below (also the book may have a different cover when it comes from the book depository). This will be international as long as The Book Depository delivers to where you live. Here are the choices:
