Feature and Follow #12 2013

Feature and Follow Friday is sponsored by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.  The purpose of this event is to learn about the two featured bloggers each week, as well as to increase your own blog following by joining in on the fun! This week's question/activity is:

If you could only have ONE – one book – for the rest of your life. Don’t cheat…what would it be?

I'm guessing that cheating would be saying I'd pick my Nook.  So, hmm.  That's hard!  I would have to say, and I know many of you will groan, but I'd have to pick Twilight.  It is a book I can read over and over.  Or, maybe, no, that's it.  One book.  Wow, that would not be a happy life!  I need more!

So how about you?  What book would you pick?

While you're here, make sure you check out these other posts:

  • My 4th Blogoversary Giveaway: Which is only open for one more day!  Don't miss out on a chance for a $40 gift card!
  • And, those of you who like to set reading challenges, maybe join my September is for Sequels Challenge.  Not only do you get to set a challenge for yourself, you might win a $20 gift card as well!  And the odds are good at the moment, only one person besides myself has signed up, so since I can't win my own contest, that means there are a lot of chances for others!

  1. I've never read Twilight only Breaking Dawn. I heard about the movies before I heard about the books and Breaking Dawn was my favorite part so I started with that. I don't know why Twilight gets such a bad rap, it's a great series/movies. Whatever makes you happy right?!

Thanks for stopping by my blog following back :)

    1. Yep! I think everyone should read what they like, and if you don't like it, don't read it! Thanks for following back!

  2. Lol! Saying your ENTIRE nook would definitely be cheating, but.. ugh, if only... :) I didn't groan when I read that you chose Twilight, I can definitely see why! Twilight was the novel that got me into reading, so it's opened this entire world up for me and I'm forever grateful to it! Anytime I read twilight it reminds me of 8th grade (when I first read it) and it makes me super nostalgic :) Wonderful answer! New follower via GFC and Bloglovin'!

    1. That's a complicated question. In the books I was totally Team Edward. However, movie wise, I'm all about Team Jacob, for me anyway. Bella can totally have the movie Edward. :-) Thanks for stopping by and I'll be sure to check out your post as well!

  7. Okay, I don't know if I'm going to comment or not. You might kill me because I hate Twilight. Okay. I loved Twilight once. It was my second love after HP. Err~ it wasn't that surprising that I'd fall inlove with it because it's my first Paranormal Romance read. I actually bought all 4 books in one purchase because I have to satisfy my curiosity with all the ongoing hype. After reading the 1st book, I had a hangover. But when I got to the second book, everything came crushing down on me. I realized the series isn't for me. But the OC that I am, I read all four books, my dislike gradually developing into pure hatred.

But please don't let our differences stop us from being friends. :D Following on bloglovin.

    Just hopping by!

    1. I would never kill or hate anyone because they didn't like Twilight. I just hate when people are mean to other people because they like something they don't like. I think it is great that there are so many books out there because there are so many people who like different things. One of my good friends is a huge HP fan, which I am too, but she can't stand Twilight. And I'm okay with that. She just doesn't criticize it in front of me. I'll be sure to stop by your FF and follow as well!

    1. Same here. And while I know how terrible the movies are, there was still something wonderful about seeing the books I loved on the big screen, and then just going and not expecting them to be that great after the first one was so bad, but they did get better! Thanks for stopping by!
