E-galleys from Netgalley:
I love the dystopian idea behind this, no one has to eat food anymore, they take medication. It sounds like a cure for food shortages, right? But what if you are still hungry with the medication, how will you find food if there isn't any anymore?

And then I was also lucky enough this week to get approved for sequels to two books I've really enjoyed within the past year or so.
So, as you can see, not a ton this week. But some good ones! How about you? What did you get this week to add to your shelves?
Hunger is one of my most anticipated dystopians of 2014! I am going to check it out from NetGalley! thanks for the heads up :D

It sounds so good! Can't wait to read it. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteHunger sounds frightening to me. A world with no food! I think I am going to go eat a cookie to deal with that idea. :) Seriously though, good haul! Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, because I've had conversations with one of my friends that I'm always talking about dieting and exercise with, and we just think it would be nice to have the pill to help with not being overweight, which actually sounds like one of the reasons or benefits the people in the story promote the supplements with. But yeah, a cookie sounds good to me! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI have Paranoia to review also..I am really curious about how this story will continue. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see how the story goes on. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteAll three of your books sound wonderful! I've been spying Hungry, but I'm almost scared to read it :P I will be looking for your review to see if I'm brave enough to try it out. Here ismy post if you'd like to check it out. Hope you enjoy all your books!
ReplyDeleteIt might be awhile till I review it, as it doesn't come out until June, so I probably won't post a review till May. But check back! Thanks for stopping by, and I'll check out your post as well!

Yeah, you'll need to read the first one. I think it was your getting approved for Paranoia that alerted me to it being available on Netgalley, so thanks to you for that!
