- Maybe Beach Reads in August Giveaway Hop
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It is a way for us to share the new books we have collected. I did okay with physical books. I only bought one, but got three others. Ebooks, well, you'll see.
Physical books:
I won both of these from Jennifer L. Armentrout in a giveaway on her Facebook page. I have to finish reading the Covenant series first. I've got books 3 and 4 on their way from The Book Depository. I decided I wanted the white covers. :-)
I got this as part of the books for trade on Twitter. I haven't read this author yet, but she is going to be at NOLA Story Con when I go in September, so I should give her a try before, right? And then have this to get autographed?
I found this at Half Price Bookstore this weekend. It's the next book in this series that I need, although I will probably listen to it as an audiobook. I will eventually want to own all of them I think! Just in case I ever get the chance to meet the author. :-)

All of these I got from Amazon for the Kindle app, except the last one is for my Nook. But I didn't realize that Masque is the second book in a series. Grrr.

All of these were given to me by the authors, either for review, or for signing up for their newsletter.
So, those are the books I got this past week. What did you add to your shelves? Virtual or physical?

ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I'm so ready for fall weather! Star Trek was good, a little more action than is my taste, but still pretty good. Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
My Argyle makes pretty puppies! :-) I enjoyed The Secret Life of Pets, although there wasn't enough of the dachshund in it for me. Hope you enjoy it!
DeleteI haven't been by in a while, so I'm gad that everything is good! *waves hello*

Well, I'm glad you stopped by today! Wintersong sounds really good! Just have to get time to get to it! And I just adore my grandpuppies. :-)
DeleteAw, that puppy is adorable! It sounds like you had a productive week, so that's awesome. I really need to get back to the gym and start moving more. Sigh. I am doing fairly well with reading, but a bit behind on writing/scheduling reviews.
ReplyDeleteI am curious about The Secret Life of Pets and the new Star Trek so I hope you enjoyed.

Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews
He's got white, but more grey and black on him. He's a sweetie! Thanks for visiting!
DeleteOh my gosh! That puppy is so, so cute. I have heard good things about Poison Princess. I look forward to your thoughts. Wintersong is on my TBR list. I like the sound of that one. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is that I just did a trade for it, and at the same time I got an email from the publisher wanting to give me an e-copy of it to read. So now I'm really excited for it. Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Imaginary Book Club!
OH yeah, my book haul, ebook especially, will insure I never am without something new to read. :-) Thanks for returning the stop!
DeleteThat puppy is just too cute. You got a lot of great looking books this week. I'm not exactly sure why, but Max is something I think I want to read. Not my usual type book, but hey, why not think out of the box. I swoon every time I see the cover of Wintersong.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of good ones! Hope I can get to them soon. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteDid you enjoy the secret lives of pets? I have heard mixed things about it so haven't been yet, though we probably will at some point. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI liked it. It wasn't exactly what I expected, but it was still cute. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteHow was the new Star Trek movie? My Miguel keeps threatening to take me to see it, but I know better. We'll watch it as soon as it comes to video, we rarely ever go to the movies.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover for Wintersong. I hope you enjoy all your new reads. Have a great week!
I liked it, although a lot more action than story. I love to go to the movie theater. At home I tend to read or play on my phone and not pay attention when I try to watch a movie. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteWay to go with the exercise! :D And those are two movies I'm wanting to see. :) Look at that puppy! He's so adorable! I could take him home. lol.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week and enjoy all your new reads!
