My Fit/Walking Goal:
Well, last week was not good. I had a few days where I got 10,000 steps in, but it was only because of working at the bookstore. I just didn't get out to walk as much as I'd have liked to. One nice thing, at our Wednesday afternoon professional development meeting this past week, we got to go outside and so I got a mile walked around the school track that day. I did learn that maybe I'll just bring my walking clothes and get my walking in at school before I head home, so that I don't have the excuses to not walk once I get home. I also found a Run, Walk, Run program I might try to see if maybe at some point I can get to running. I don't know how I'll get 20 miles a week in during the school year right now, just too many things going on. But I'd like to try to at least get out and walk for at least a half hour 3 days a week.
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews. It is a way for us to share the new books we have collected. Now, keep in mind that what I list below is for the last two weeks. So it is a lot!

All but the last two are from Edelweiss. The last two come from Netgalley. I've got to hurry up and read my ARC of The Messenger of Fear by Michael Grant so that I can read my egalley of The Tattooed Heart. Very excited about all of these!
Physical Books:

The first one is a stripped cover from the bookstore where I work. The second one was an unsolicited ARC from the publisher, Sourcebooks. The last one is an ARC that I won from Brittany at Brittany's Book Rambles.

All free. Will see when or if I get to them!
So, whew! Too many added, who knows when I'll ever get to them!! But they're there in case I get in the mood to read them. What did you add to your shelves this week?
Now I'm off to walk today. I'll be back to go comment on other blogs later today!
You got some great books. Violent Ends I just heard about and I need it!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading.

Very excited about the different authors that are going to be in Violent Ends. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteOoo! I also picked up a lot of the Harper eARCs. The Cage, A Madness So Discreet - not The White Rose though, I didn't like The Jewel :D Dangerous Lies I got as well - loved Black Ice! I got Silver in the Blood from Bloomsbury, it seems a bit Middle Grade ish, doesn't it? In any case, I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend :)
Check out my STS post!
So many added this week! I think I forgot one or two as well. Oh well. I liked The Jewel, so can't wait for the sequel. I also loved Black Ice even though I didn't think I was going to at first. Silver in the Blood does seem middle grade, but it sounds good enough that I'll give it a try. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteReally great haul! Happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
DeleteI've been really curious about Undertow, the concept is cool and I saw it at the bookstore and wondered. I may have to get it.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week.
I really, really liked Undertow, you should definitely pick it up! Thanks for visiting!
DeleteI also got Dangerous Lies this week! I totally spaced and didn't add it to my STS post though =P I really hope you enjoy both it and The Cage, those are two of the books I'm most excited to read this late spring/early summer.
ReplyDeleteEmily @ Falling For YA
I think I saw one on someone else's post that I forgot to add as well! So many good ones on Edelweiss this week. Thanks for stopping by!
Deleteoooh The Cage :D Nice haul. A Madness & So Discreet the cover is haunting. So beautiful!! Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteMaura @ Monsterofbooks.blogspot.com
I just love the cover of A Madness So Discreet so had to get it. I've not read that author yet, but her other series intrigues me. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteA couple of your galleys look interesting - particularly Awake and Dangerous Lies! Might check them out!
ReplyDeleteDeb
You should check them out! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteSo many good books! I can't wait to read Dangerous Lies and I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteSame here. After being so pleasantly surprised by Black Ice, I'm really looking forward to this one as well. Thanks for visiting!

You are so right about that! My schedule is way too full! I need to stop requesting books, but I want to read them all! :-) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteOh my that's a lot of books coming in for two weeks even! I think I would panic!! It is difficult to keep up exercise when walking, although it's great when it can be fitted in to the work day!
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, I have to not think ahead of myself or I will get stressed! Thanks for visiting!
DeleteGlad you finish you A-Z! it definitely looks like a pretty busy week coming up! Thanks for the free e-books tip! got them all :) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteGreat! Love when I can find books I want for fee. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteFuture Perfect is one I've got my eye on. I am really interested to read the author's take on weight loss surgery and body image. The Jessica Day George book also looks good. I've enjoyed some of her fairy tale retellings in the past.
ReplyDeleteI wish e-galleys didn't expire. I hate when I download something and then don't get a chance to read it before it expires. I usually try to just read ARCs that go to my Kindle so I don't have that issue. I am behind on reading and reviewing though. I keep track on a spreadsheet and I haven't been keeping up very well :(
I always enjoy weight issue books because I know how much I struggle with it myself. I haven't figured out how to do Kindle galleys from Edelweiss yet, so I always have to worry about those expiring. I have a little notebook I've turned into a type of calendar that I keep track in. :-) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGreat haul! Congrats on making it through the A to Z challenge. I wanted to join that one but I figured I would never make it all the way through so I held off on joining it.
ReplyDeleteDreams @ Once Upon A Dream Books
I made it! So glad to be done though. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteYou have some great books! I hope you enjoy them!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't wait to get to them!
DeleteNice assortment of books. I got a couple of them too. They won't show up on my StS until next week though. I just asked for Silver in the Blood and hope I'm approved. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThere were some good ones this past week! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI can't wait for Dangerous Lies! I will definitely be looking forward to your review on it. I hope you enjoy everything! :)
ReplyDeleteKrystianna @ Downright Dystopian
It will be a little while till I get to it, but I can't wait! Thanks for visiting!
DeleteAwake sounds good, hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI thought so as well. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGot A Madness So Discreet this week, so I can't wait to read it. Great haul this week!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the lateness, but somehow your comments always end up in my spam box. I never see them unless I'm approving someone else's comment.
DeleteNo problem, I seem to go in spam on a lot of people who have Word Press for some reason. :-( Thanks for stopping by anyway!
DeleteI think THE WHITE ROSElooks excellent! I might have to request it!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a fantastic week :) Happy Reading!
Here's my Weekly Wrap Up

Did you read The Jewel? I really enjoyed it, so am excited for the sequel! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteAwesome haul and some great reviews! You should join our read-along for Silver in the Blood. It's going to be a blast!! :) Thanks for stopping by, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteTressa @ Wishful Endings
While I love the idea of a read-along, I just can't always get on other people's schedules for reading, messes me up. Thanks for returning the stop!
