Giveaway: Fool for Books Hop 2014

This Hop is sponsored by Kathy at I Am a Reader, Not a Writer.  And I decided it would be fun to do in honor of April Fool's Day.  This time the giveaway will only be available to the United States, sorry about that.  But I'm going to give away a surprise box of books and I can't afford to ship it internationally.  I'm giving away a box of 5 mystery YA books to one winner.  So just fill out the Rafflecopter below, then hop along to the other blogs participating in the Linky underneath the Rafflecopter.

  1. My friends played a prank on me once....she knew my locker combo and decided to move my ENTIRE locker into the empty locker next to mine. Needless to say...I was quite confused in the morning when I unlocked my locker and it was empty!

  9. Luckily I've never been the target of an April fool's prank nor have I pulled any pranks myself. It always pays to be on guard just in case though.

  10. I've played many pranks on many people (family) but all in good fun. Last year I convinced my mother that her grandson (16) got his secret girlfriend pregnant. She believed me, of course lol. Thank you!

  11. The one I pulled today was so lame I'd rather forget it. I enjoy harmless pranks but think it's terrible when people lie about someone dying or pretend to be seriously hurt. Oh, and dangerous stuff like baby oil on the bathroom floor or scaring someone with a major phobia. That's not wise.

  21. I don't play April Fool's pranks, and I've never been pranked by anyone (yet anyways) on April Fool's either. Don't know of anybody who likes to participate in April Fool's. To me it doesn't seem like it's possible to pull off a prank on that day since everyone knows what to expect lol. So it's kind of a wasted effort. I definitely enjoy an occasional prank throughout the year though, as long as it's harmless. :)

  23. When I was younger my friends and I had a few sleepovers' worth of "prank wars" -- my personal favorite was when I baked them all brownies, cut them in half and put a squirt of ketchup in the middle before putting them back together. The look on their faces was priceless!

  24. I have not played any jokes really but last year I did have a GREAT one played on me and practically all of the Derby community on Facebook :) One of my very good friends and fellow Derby girl Jeerleaders' fiance had proposed to her at the game for her birthday which was 3/30. So 2 days later her Derby girl sister announces on FB that SHE is getting married to her boyfriend. We were all like OMG!!!! 2 weddings and sisters :) They let it go on all day until telling us all we were punk'd LOL! It was hilarious :)
