Stacking the Shelves - December 1st, 2013

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.  It is a way for us to share the new books we have collected.  This week I got my Secret Santa gift through the Girls With Books blog sign up.  The other I think I might have received through a Shelf Awareness giveaway, but it came directly from the author, so that was cool.
Book received from author:

Don't know for sure how I got it, but I know it is one I was really interested in!!  So excited to have it.

Secret Santa Gift:

Sever is the final book in the Wither series by Lauren DeStefano, and one I've still been anxiously waiting to read!  No more wait!  Other than fitting it in between my Edelweiss and Netgalley review books.  The 2nd book is Tainted the sequel to a book I loved as an e-galley, Broken, by A.E. Rought, and I hadn't even realized it was out until I saw it on the shelf at the bookstore where I work.  So yay!  The rules of the Secret Santa also said you must include a bookmark, and it is kind of funny that the one I received, Keep Calm and Read On, is the same one I bought to pass on to my Secret Santa!  But honestly, it is a perfect bookmark for a reader's gift.  My Secret Santa is Amber Ford, so thank you Amber!  I wish I knew what the name of her blog was, I'd definitely link it here.

So how about you?  What books did you get this past week?

    1. If I haven't had time to real all day, then I can totally tell that I feel more stressed. So it is definitely true!

    1. And of course that is what drew me to check it out in the first place. Oh well, it's so hard not to judge by a cover, isn't it? :-)

    1. Well, see, now you're one of those lucky people who can sit and read the whole series at once and doesn't have to wait impatiently a year between each one. :-)

    1. I've got to find time to fit it in! I've got so many things I've planned to read, or e-galleys to get finished by expiration dates.
