Gratitude Giveaways Hop 2014

First, thanks to I Am a Reader, Not a Writer for hosting this giveaway.  Secondly, thanks to all my followers.  I love when you stop by and comment on my reviews, or tag me in some of the fun memes that have been jumping around the blogosphere.  I also am thankful when you leave me links to go see what you're doing on your blog.  I try to get around when I can and check things out, but often I only have time to go to like 10 or so blogs, and I follow a lot more than that.  So please, leave me a link in your comments when you want me to visit.  I'm also very grateful to all the cool authors and publishers who have let me have access to things like advanced readers copies, or early cover reveals.

Unfortunately I am not going to open this up internationally this time because I am offering a box of mystery books.  The box is going to contain probably about 5-6 books.  One or two may be finished copies, but for the most they will be ARCs.  Most are YA ARCs, but there might be 1 or 2 that are not.  At least 1 of them will be a 2014 ARC, but some may be earlier than that.  So it is just a box full of surprises!  And since we can only have one thing for you to do to enter, I've decided I'd like some comment love on my reviews.  All you have to do is go comment on any review on my blog.  And it needs to be a meaningful comment.  More than just, "Great review".  Tell me something about my review you liked, or if you've read the book, what did you think of it?  Then come and tell me what review you posted on and what name you used to comment with.  That's it.  When you're done with that, hop around to the other blogs listed in the linky below the Rafflecopter for more great giveaways.

  3. I read your review of Girl on a Wire by Gwenda Bond because you stated that it was a kids book. I love to read kids books because I am a teacher and always looking to add new and interesting books to my library. This book is of a higher reading level than what my students can read. I loved the synopsis and if I was teaching middle school, I would definitely buy the book because it is about a circus. Everyone at one time or another has dreamed about running away and joining one. I might still get the book so that I can read it!

    1. Being a teacher is what got me back into reading YA books. I read them for the most part now, and I can claim it is because I need to know what kids are reading for my current job as a high school librarian, but anymore it is a lot because that is just the kind of book I enjoy. There are just so many good ones out there. Thanks so much for stopping by!

  4. Loved reading your Girl on a Wire with my Granddaughter Talia, Her and I love reading together. She just started Middle School and found it very interesting reading about her Journey to run away and join a circus. Now that we finished the book she is passing it on to her friend Chyanne and when she is done she will pay it forward and pass it on. Thank you for the gift of your books.

    1. Awesome! Glad it was a good read for the two of you, and that you passed it on for someone else to read. I have trouble doing that sometimes as I am a bit of a book hoarder, but I try to do it more often these days. Thanks for stopping by!

  7. I posted my comment on your Creed review, but don't think it went through, because my first comment here didn't either. So, I loved your review, and thank you the honesty of it. As much as I love edge of my seat page turners, I Need a solid ending, or I get this churning, hollow feeling inside as I spend the next few weeks going over and over things in my head of what could have happened next. I guess it's a touch of OCD that mainly shows that way. Lol. Anyway, I do appreciate you not skating past that point.
