The Changed are on the move. The Spared are out of time. The End...is now.
When her parents died, Alex thought things couldn't get much worse-until the doctors found the monster in her head.
She headed into the wilderness as a good-bye, to leave everything behind. But then the end of the world happened, and Alex took the first step down a treacherous road of betrayal and terror and death.
Now, with no hope of rescue-on the brink of starvation in a winter that just won't quit-she discovers a new and horrifying truth.
The Change isn't over. The Changed are still evolving.And...they've had help.
With this final volume of The Ashes Trilogy, Ilsa J. Bick delivers a riveting, blockbuster finish, returning readers to a brutal, post-apocalyptic world where no one is safe and hope is in short supply.
A world where, from these ashes, the monsters may rise.
Doesn't it sound like a really good ending! I can't wait. It comes out in September I guess, so not much time for me to find any ARCs or e-galleys. I wonder if it was passed out at BEA? I did find out just recently from a publisher contact that another third book in a trilogy that I have all ARCs of won't be released as an ARC. So I won't have a matching set. Oh well.
What are you waiting on this week?
OMG the cover is so pretty! I haven't heard of this series but it does sound very interesting. Happy Reading!

And I just went on Edelweiss and was able to download it, so I'm so excited!!! Thanks for commenting!
DeleteThis looks like a good series. I have no seen this one before, but Ill have to look into it.

It's a zombie/apocalyptic type of story. The zombies aren't like the main part of the story though, so I wouldn't call it a zombie story per se.
DeleteNice pick. I have the first book, I still have to read it though. :)

Well, if you just wait till September, you'll be able to read the whole series straight through! That's a plus!
DeleteI have yet to pick this series up, but I plan to, especially seeing all the good reviews about it! I love that you actually have to wait for the book release for the final book; book blogger problems, haha. ;) At least you'll be able to support the author and buy the this last book, right? Even if you won't have a matching set. We have to sacrifice sometimes. ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely pick, Lisa! <3
I won't have to wait now though, I found the e-galley on Edelweiss today! But, I don't own the first one either, so at some point I'll have to buy both the first and the third to complete my collection.
DeleteI never read Ashes, but I've been planning to for a while! I guess I should get started.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to my WoW! I followed you back via GFC.

DeleteI haven't read these books but I know the author from other works and I think her writing is quite good-hope the series ends well!
