Wishlist Wednesday: Books I'm hoping to get at BEA 2014

Wishlist Wednesday is a weekly meme, hosted at Pen to Paper Blog, in which we feature a book we can't wait to get off of our wish list and onto our shelves!  I actually haven't participated in this since last summer I think.  And for the month of May, I'm choosing to participate, but in a little bit different way.  Each Wednesday I'm going to talk about something I'm wishing to happen at BEA this summer.  This week I've chosen to share the books that I'm hoping to get at BEA.  Some are books already published, some will be advanced readers copies.  So, without further ado, let me get started, as this will be a big list.

Day 1:

Day 2:

Day 3:

And honestly, that's not even all! Those are just the ones that I know I really want to get. There are others that I might try to get for my niece, or to give away on my blog.

See anything you'd want to pick up as well?  I think next week I'll share the names of the authors that I'm really excited to meet.  Some of them I will get a book from, but I don't actually want/need that book because I either already have it, or it isn't a series I read.  So those people aren't even listed here.

  1. That's actually a pretty cool list! I personally have Lair of Dreams, The Fine Art of Pretending, Since you've been gone, and Jewel on my wish list.
I do have e-Arcs of: Undead With Benefits, The Swap, The things you kiss Goodbye, Blackbird, Even in Paradise and The Zoo at the Edge of the World.
I didn't like Life by Committee or After the End though.

But I do hope you get those books at BEA and that you have a fabulous time!

    1. Some of them will be more for giveaways I think than actually for me. There are some that I didn't get the e-galleys of because I thought I'd get them at BEA. Like Blackbird. Thanks for your visit!

    1. It's my 2nd time, and while I'm really looking forward to it, I've had some financial issues lately, and kind of wish I wasn't going just because I won't be able to do much else while I'm there. Oh well.

    1. I'm excited for that one, really like that author. It seems like a huge list, but I'm sure I got that many at least last time I went to BEA. Thanks for returning the visit.

    1. BEA is definitely worth going at least once in your life! And now that I'm actually a librarian, I hope to go to ALA at least once in my life. Can't afford BEA and ALA in Vegas this year both, so I chose BEA. Kind of wishing I'd chose ALA and had more time to make money as I'm feeling very poor with less than a month till BEA! Thanks for stopping by!

    1. It's so cool, and totally worth going to at least once. This will be my 2nd time, maybe my last for awhile, as I really want to go to ALA now that I am officially a librarian!

    1. I know! Although I feel like last time I went there were more authors there I wanted to see, it seems like there are still the same amount of books I want, so maybe I'm just remembering wrong.

    1. And I just keep finding more as I go through the authors that will be signing at the booths, so this could have been an even longer list. Thanks for stopping by!

  9. That is one EPIC wishlist!! I hope to pick up some of the same titles from BEA in a few weeks *fingers crossed*. Deep Blue, Trial By Fire, Since You've Been Gone, Heir of Fire, The Iron Trial, and the Girl Who Never Was are some I hope to acquire while I'm there...along with so many more! I'm sure I'll be happy and lucky if I just get one of those novels. It's not just about the books though it's the experience of being around so many people who love to read as much as I do! I really cannot wait for BEA week, it's going to be a lot of fun! Hopefully I'll see you there!

    1. There are some you listed that I will probably try to get, but maybe more for a giveaway on my blog than because I want to read them for sure. I'm sure you'll get most of them, I got almost everything I wanted when I was there last time. I hope I get to see you there! Thanks for returning the visit.
