Feature and Follow Friday 6-1-12

Since I don't seem to be doing these weekly, or I wasn't because of how busy I was with school, I think instead of saying #1, etc., I'll post them as the date they are.  Feature and Follow Friday is a joint effort between bloggers to increase your following. It is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The point of the hop is to gain new followers, but also to follow others. According to Parajunkee this week, I follow you, you follow me. This week's question is:

Q: You are a matchmaker — your goal, hook up two characters from two of your favorite books. Who would it be? How do you think it would go?

This is a hard question for me!    But let's see, how about Jacob from Twilight, and Calla from the Nightshade series?  They're both werewolves, in their own way.  Both are pack leaders, which is similar to what Calla dealt with Ren about.  Except Jacob only became his own small pack leader at the end when he was doing what he felt was right, kind of like Calla left with Shay because she knew it wasn't right to kill him.

So, what characters would you try to set up?

  1. Interesting pick! I only read the first book of Nightshade, but I think Jacob should be with another werewolf instead of pining for stupid pathetic Bella.
Your blog is so cute, new follower here :D

    1. The first book of the Nightshade trilogy is the best. The 2nd was okay, but necessary to continue the story, and I liked the 3rd, although a lot of people did not, because they don't like who ended up with who and all of that. Thanks for the comment! I'll check out your blog as well.

  2. Hmm, I read the Nightshade series but I ended up hating Calla near the end and I haven't read far enough into the Twilight series to know a lot about Jacob. :/

Following back via NetworkedBlogs and Linky for your follow! :) I love your blog design, it's so pretty!

    1. Yeah, a lot of people felt that way about Calla I think. Thanks for following back! And I can't take credit for the design, I had someone make it for me, but it was my idea pretty much to have the dachshund! :-)

    1. I enjoyed looking at several people's ideas of pairs. Some were much more creative than I was.
