Today we had a choice for our top 10, but they again had to be books published this year. If you follow me, or I've commented on your blog before, you'll know I tend to say that I don't really read a lot of YA contemporary. Well, I think maybe I read more than I realize. So I chose to make today's top my favorite YA contemporaries that I read in 2017. Again, no particular order.

I wish I could get into contemporary reads but I like to escape reality with a good fantasy or PNR. I did the blog tour for Zenn Diagram though Wendy is a doll :D
ReplyDeleteSee, that is usually me! Most of the time a contemporary, YA especially, has to have a heavy subject as the main point, or I will be bored. Zenn Diagram was one I got sent from the publisher, and ended up reading because I had it and had the time in between other books. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGreat picks. The only one I have read is Trust which I did like.
ReplyDeleteI loved Trust. But then I pretty much love all things that are written by Kylie Scott. She wrote my all time favorite book boyfriend, Mal Ericson. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteZenn Diagram was like #12 for me lol. I should have split it up be genre because for contemporary it would have been #3 on my list!! Great picks!
ReplyDeleteIt was so hard to pick just 10, wasn't it? Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI don't know most of these b ut I have seen Antisocial and How To Disappear. And Butterfly Suicide just looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteThey were all really good. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteI am so excited to see Zenn on your list. It was a random NetGalley pick for me, and it keeps popping up on my lists, because I loved it so much. How to Disappear and Short History were two of my TOP reads. Utterly adored them both, even if Short History still brings me to tears.
ReplyDeleteShort History totally blindsided me. It was so good. Glad we agree on some! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI read Zenn Diagram and have started The Short History of a Girl Next Door. Zenn is one of my book boyfriends.
ReplyDeleteI did love Zenn. :-) Thanks for visiting!
DeleteCrazily, I've only read ONE of these!! So many amazing books in the world. Sigh.

It's crazy, I see so many I want to read, but know I'll just never get the time to read. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI am not really into contemporary, but all these covers look awesome. Thanks for sharing your favorites!
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I was either, but all these books that I loved prove me wrong I guess. :-) Thanks for visiting!
